Yesterday, I connected to Amazon App store ( via Amazon underground app ). And I found only HearthStone is not allowed to be downloaded. How to download hearthstone through amazon15.
Back in 1950 Colt began building guns using the new aluminum alloys.
The first two revolvers were the Cobra and the Agent.
Colt's small frame revolvers used Colt's 'D' frame.
Other guns using the 'D' frame were the all steel Detective Special, Diamondback, and several other models.
The Agent was intended to be a deep concealment gun that used a special short grip frame and grips to allow easier carry and concealment.
Later, in 1965 Colt changed all their small frame revolvers to use the same short frame in order to simplify production.
The Agent was available in blue, probably bright nickel, and later in the early 1980's with a dull, flat black finish.
The Agent was available in .38 Special.
NOTE: Your older Agent was not rated for use with +P ammunition. Although it won't blow up, use of hotter ammo will wear the gun faster. Use only standard load .38 Special ammo.
In 1973 Colt changed most of their short barrel guns to use a heavy, shrouded ejector rod barrel, replacing the older 'skinny barrel' exposed ejector rod like your gun.
Like all Colt revolvers, the Agent was a very high quality revolver, and was noted for superior accuracy and fit/finish.
You can look up the year yours was made at Colt and here. Note, in the mid 1960's Colt started to add letters to the serial number. The 60's Cobra and Agent should have the letters 'LW' on the end of the serial number, but many did not.:
